PROFESSIONALS IN REAL ESTATE VALUATIONS OR
FORECASTING
Econometric forecasting takes a larger
aggregate sampling of statistical data along
with model assumptions for final calculations.
From time to time specific local geographic
areas, more commonly densely populated areas,
require further expert advise to measure future
forecasting results. For this reason
edsforecast.com has created local metropolitan
boards chartered to assist in adjustments to
final forecasting numbers for these specific
areas.
We invite real estate professionals and
forecasting experts to join or create a local
Expert Metropolitan Board (EMB) chapter to
assist in local area forecasting. The board has
substantial influence over the adjustment to
forecast results on specific zip codes and
blocks of addresses.
Members need to apply for participation to
their local EMB. If a board currently exists in
the area all edsforecast.com approved applicants
will be forwarded to the local chapter for
participation. If a board does not currently
exist we will ask an applicant to join as a
charter chair person in their area. All members
volunteer their time and expertise to their
local chapter. Some chapters may choose to
charge a nominal fee to meet at specific
locations (restaurant use etc.). However,
edsforecast.com does not sponsor or pay for such
activities. The boards remain autonomous from
edsforecast.com. It is a fun environment to
network and get to know other local
professionals.
Minimum qualification requirements are
listed below:
Real Estate Agents or Brokers
- Good standing license within their local
states.
- Substantial knowledge in local markets.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the
local market.
- Various other considerations include
(i.e. possible limits on local EMB chapter
already met).
Academics and Forecasting Professionals
- Comprehensive academic or corporate
background in forecasting.
- Minimum 5 years experience in
forecasting and/or modeling.
Typical processing time of EMB application is
within 2 to 4 weeks from receipt of completed
form.
